Svartifoss is our favourite waterfall in Iceland. It looks like an organ, a keyboard instrument, which makes you feel like you are in an ancient church. The rocks around the waterfall remind pipes. You keep thinking that an invisible musician is going to start playing a sonata of Johann Sebastian Bach.
As opposed to some other waterfalls, Svartifoss is not so easy to reach as you have to climb a hill, which may take about 15-20 minutes.
You will not get lost, the way to go is pretty easy to find. There are some maps along the path that will help you. Reaching the fascinating waterfall in the end feels like a reward.
